About Amy Thorson
Amy Thorson started taking riding lessons when she was eight years old, and got her first horse when she was twelve. She has over twenty years’ experience teaching riding lessons, and has been boarding horses at Alpenglo Equestrian since 1994. For Amy, riding is all about forging a connection between horse and rider.
“I love to see the ‘light bulb’ flash on when a rider has been working on something for a while and suddenly they feel the connection. That’s when 1 + 1 = 1. Horse + Rider = one interconnected unit working toward a common goal.”

Farm-fresh meats and produce: Red Sky Farm’s beef, pork, and chicken are raised naturally – we never use hormones, pesticides, or herbicides, and our animals are raised in a home farm setting. Farm fresh eggs and produce are available in season. We’re proud of our heritage, and welcome you to join us in continuing the traditions of small family farms, including superb horsemanship and the importance of connecting with the sources of our food.
